What is an implant?
A dental implant is an artificial root that is placed into your jaw bone to hold a replacement tooth or teeth. In many cases, it is the ideal option for patients who have lost a tooth or teeth due to injury, periodontal disease, extraction or other reasons.
Will my new teeth look natural?
Tooth loss is never easy to accept. But if you are able to replace one or more teeth with something that looks and feels like your own teeth, you might be able to embrace dental implants as the solution you didn't know existed until now.
How long will it take?
After a detailed evaluation and treatment plan the actual placement of the implant will take place in the office. Most implants will remain covered underneath the gums for 3 to 6 months. During this time, the implant bonds to the jaw bone, called osseointegration. After osseointegration occurs, we will uncover the implant and your new teeth will be created and fitted.
Will my insurance pay for implants?
Some insurance companies will pay for a good portion of the implant process. Our team will work with your insurance to ensure your benefits are maximized.
Is the procedure painful?
Most people who have received dental implants say that there is very little discomfort involved in the procedure. Local anesthesia is used, and most patients report that implants involve less pain than a tooth extraction. We also offer IV sedation with the help of our Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
How much will my treatment cost?
There are many implant options available depending on every individual situation. Costs vary depending on your personal treatment plan.
We also offer CareCredit, a medical credit card offering interest-free credit to those who qualify.
