Tooth reshaping is a relatively simple cosmetic dentistry procedure designed to improve your appearance and your bite. Before the procedure, we will take images of your teeth to see what part of the tooth needs to be removed to achieve the desired shape. In most cases, the procedure removes only the enamel, or the hard covering of the tooth, not the pulp, which means it does not cause much discomfort. Some patients will still feel anxious about the procedure, and in these cases we offer deep IV sedation with the care of our Licensed Nurse Anesthetist.

Sometimes teeth can be sensitive to temperature extremes, but this is a temporary problem. Throughout the procedure we will work hard to keep you comfortable, so you can walk away with beautiful, properly shaped teeth and no pain.
